So I’ve had this little clear plastic disk floating around in my craft box for the past few years, knowing someday, just someday, I would have a good use for it. Well friends, the day has finally arrived! Craft along with me today to learn another way to turn your trash into treasure! π

To make the pendant, you’ll need:
- Some kind of small, round disk (you can use a bottle-cap, a small jar lid, whatever you’ve got! π )
- Beads
- Glue
- Thin wire
- And of course, scissors
Start by planning a design for your pendant. You could make a message with letter beads, a snazzy pattern…the only bounds is your creativity!

Once you’ve got your design laid out, go ahead and glue it in place.

While the glue’s drying, snip off enough wire to circle around your pendant about two times (doesn’t have to be precise, just an estimate π ).

Then take the center of the wire and wrap it around the pendant as seen above.
Twist it to make a really tight fit…

And begin forming the hanging loop! π You’ll want to bend your twisted end over…

Wrap it around the beginning point…

And cut off the excess.

Voila! You’ve got your own custom pendant!

Hang it on a chain, and wear it proudly! π
What kind of recycled crafts have you made?
Happy winter crafting to you all! β€
