The elements of a masterpiece
We needed cookies this week (yes, we needed them), and I decided they were to be oatmeal raisin cookies. I knew we had a recipe somewhere; I had just seen it the other day! In a matter of minutes I had it in my hands, and was scanning it to make sure I had everything needed to make them. Bummer, they needed shortening—which we almost never have.
I hopped on the computer and found a new recipe in minutes. (The beauty of the internet. 🙂 ). I was finally on my way to yummy goodness!
They turned out absolutely delicious; click on the link below to get the recipe from allrecipes.com:

One thing I will note—you don’t necessarily have to soak the raisins like the recipe says if you don’t want to. I was in a hurry, so I skipped that step, and they still turned out tasting great! 😉
